I was thinking of not writing, just because
there has been so little that happened over the last month, especially ministry
wise. Carl is keeping an inspecting eye over everything, but the exciting
progress that you find in the beginning of a project is quiet now. Apart from
300 new chicks from eggs we bought and our own eggs, action has been scares.
So, I thought I will just give you a few more
personal stories and photo’s- finding Joy in everyday life.
If you therefore want to know and see more
about the project, you don’t have to read further. This will be a more personal
letter to people who know us personally.
My Ilne’s life revolves around my children,
welcome to motherhood. This last month included the 10th birthday of
our first born, Rashelle.
She celebrated with an exciting detective
party, since she is very much into everything secret agent/detective at the
moment. They had quite a bit of fun, though I missed it.
Minutes before the party was due to start,
Simon found Isabel floating in the neighbours’ swimming pool. For about two
hours, things looked very uncertain. I mean in a brain kind of way, not in a
life/death kind of way. But when I took her from Simon in the first moments and
soon afterwards we just prayer for God to have his way. I just shouted to Jesus
for help. And He did- she is 100% fine, not even scared of water. We praise God
for His Power that watched over us.
This and a few other things that have happened
just remind us that we are in a constant battle. And we need to put on our armour and faithfully fight, and
ask God for protection.
Our hearts are filled with thankfulness for his
faithfulness, and that made me think of this verse:
Psalm 34:8 “Taste and see that the Lord is good.”
And where can we see this: all around us.
Thank you Father!
Spesifically for lots of opportunities for the children:
An engineering week presented by the local primary school
An culture day by the homeschool academy
