Flowers

If anyone were to open our computer, they would find a whole big flower garden. Carl loves taking pictures of flowers. Here is a beauty he took as we were walking on Monday:

It might be because it's easier to get a flower to sit still than all 5 Paalmannetjies:

Gran

My gran recently passed at the ripe age of 95. At first my throat closed, and then I realized that she is now free and probably able to hear the music for the first time in a long time- the Heavenly music praising her Saviour. Nothing is holding her back, she is where she's meant to be.

We met as family to celebrate her life. And looking at the photo now:
I realize that none of these people would have even existed, if not for my gran. (Wait, only my mom). And listening to the stories of what my gran meant to people, I realized that sometimes our footprints on people's heart, go deeper than we think.
Maybe I should tread more careful...

Africa?

If you were thinking of coming to visit to escape to a nice warm Africa, think again. Twice in the last two weeks, this has been the view from our home:
And then we like to do this:
Hide!

I truly do not know who thought of global warming, but they were not living in Gordon's Bay, or the rest of South Africa for that matter. There are parts that have seen snow for the first time for as long as anyone can remember.

I've said it and I'll say it again. We are living in end times- even nature feels the change.
We have also been seeing a lot of political struggles in South Africa of late. Yesterday 38 people were shot down while protesting- armed, not armed, who knows?

Our answer lies in God alone. Please pray with us for safety and peace to reign- true Peace.
